Favorite Week of the Year

My favorite week of the year is coming to a close. I just had my 26th birthday on November 20th and then Thanksgiving is right around the corner. In the past few years, a few traditions have solidified themselves to make that week, already stuffed with presents, food and more food, even more enjoyable.
Some of the highlights of the past week included:
...A trip to Ashley's, my favorite bar in Ann Arbor, MI which has the most/best on-tap beer selection of any bar I've ever been to.

...A visit to one of the rehearsals of the mens choral group Measure for Measure where we sang almost exclusively in Latin and German.
...A trip to the outlet stores where I scored many sweet deals,
including this backpack for about 70% off.
...A weekend at Frankenmuth, this odd little German village in the middle-of-nowhere Michigan.

...A trip to Bronner's, the largest christmas store IN THE WORLD. They had a whole section dedicated to ornaments relating to s'mores.

...A visit to Circus Bar to see a pseudo-bluegrass concert by The Ragbirds.
...Three official Thanksgiving dinners.
Countless unofficial raids of the refrigerator.

...A trip to 6 different stores on Black Friday, starting at 3:45am and ending by 11:00am. Yes, for the third year in a row, it was DEFINITELY worth it.
All in all a great 10 days back in Michigan visiting family and friends, but at the same time I'm itching to get back into the pool and the gym. More on some lackadaisical vacation workout attempts very soon.
